Gladstone’s Bill Robertson Toyota along with Gladstone’s Police Crime Prevention Unit have partnered together to prevent crime. “Turning the Screws on Crime” is a crime prevention initiative that replaces ordinary screws on your vehicle’s number plate with anti-theft screws.
Bill Robertson Toyota is now able to fit your number plate with anti-theft screws to deter criminals from removing them.
Crimes such as number plate theft are often linked to serious crimes like vehicle theft, armed robbery, stealing and traffic offences.
Police rely on the community to provide information to help prevent and solve a crime. Bill Robertson Toyota is assisting the Gladstone community to help reduce crime and keep Gladstone a safe community to live, play and work.
Bill Robertson Toyota’s Dealer Principal, James Robertson said “Our dealership is happy to come on board with this free community service with the assistance of the Gladstone Police Service. You don’t need to be driving a Toyota or have purchased your vehicle from our dealership to take up this free offer. This is open to the whole Gladstone community and we welcome anyone to come to our dealership to get these anti-theft screws fitted to your vehicle”.
The Gladstone Crime Prevention unit seeks your assistance to protect your vehicle against number plate theft. We remind you to keep vigilant and report any suspicious person or activity in your area.
