THE BENARABY STATE SCHOOL COUNTRY FAIR IS HELD ON THE SECOND SUNDAY IN AUGUST EVERY YEAR.
The event is one of the community’s largest and well known and continues
to grow in size since the original held in August 1990.
It is the one major fundraising event for the school with all the profits going back
into the school to improve facilities and resources for the students and teachers.
The event starts with the fun filled BoatBash where the students compete in groups of three in their proudly constructed creations.
The day is jam packed full of Market stalls, cake and candy, Devonshire tea and
homemade scones, snow cones, preloved goods, hot food, horse poo lotto, rides
& slides, the haunted house and lots of other entertainment throughout the day.
Plus, the ever-popular Cent sale. Tickets are purchased on the day for you to select
your favourite raffle draw. All the amazing prizes are kindly donated by local businesses who continue to every year give to our wonderful school.
This year there has been kid’s raffles added to the cent sale as well. So, if you are looking for a fun filled day for the family head out to Benaraby State School on Sunday 13th August from 9am-3pm. You won’t be disappointed.
