06 Aug Benaraby State School Country Fair
Those who have been before, know it’s definitely an event not to miss. The 25th annual Benaraby State School Country Fair is a major fundraising event that will be held on August 13th this year. All proceeds go towards optimising the resources and facilities available to students and teachers at Benaraby State School.
In August 1990, the first Benaraby State School Country Fair was held and since then the size of the event has significantly increased. Today it’s still one of the community’s greatest events and continues to grow in size rapidly.
The day kickstarts at 9 am with the classic BoatBash where the students proudly show off their constructed creations in groups of three with prizes for each age group.
Carnival rides and slides will run all day – there’s dodgem cars, the cup and saucer, rock wall, Willy the Worm, a haunted house, super slides, camel rides and more, and they aren’t just for the kids!
The day also has beautiful market stalls with goodies to purchase. There are also numerous food and beverage options available including Cake and Candy, Devonshire teas with homemade scones, hot food, snow cones and more. The beloved Cent Sale has extraordinary prizes, donated by local businesses who continue to support Benaraby State School.
If a day with fun, family and friends, rides, tantalising food and live entertainment is your kind of thing, then come along to the Benaraby State School Country Fair on Sunday, August 13th. For more information check out their Facebook page – Benaraby state school fair 2018.
