Bohemian Favourite T-Leaf moves to Goondoon Street

T-Leaf Clothing is the latest boutique to open at the top of Goondoon Street, adding another stylish retailer to this uptown design and shopping precinct.

Already long-established at the Sun Valley IGA shopping centre, owner Karen Stoneley said she’s really excited about the move to a more central location:

“We’ve had heaps of regulars coming in to see the new shop – which is so nice – and the vibe is awesome in town, I love it,” she said.

“I like the character of the area, it reminds me of somewhere like Burleigh village on the Gold Coast. It’s better than shopping in Brisbane sometimes.”

A reflection of her personal style, T-Leaf Clothing sells gorgeous dresses, separates, accessories and leatherwear from a diverse range of cult Australian labels:

“A lot of my labels are from around the Byron Bay area,” she said. “I deal directly with the designers down there – clothes from Arnhem, Kivari, August, Noosa Amsterdam – we also have Jaase, which is a label a lot of my customers really love,” Karen said. “I also have vintage tees which I buy in from the USA.”

With gorgeous fabrics and textures, intricate florals, velvet, brocade and orientals as well as the handbags, knitwear and shoes to match, Tea Leaf clothing is the ultimate in gypsy chic.

”It’s very bohemian – we don’t do cocktail or formal wear – just beautiful clothes to take you from day to night very free and relaxed.”
