The Calliope Motor Enthusiasts held their first ever Car and Bike Show last Sunday in conjunction with the Calliope Rotary Markets.
The event was a huge success with 60 cars and
20 bikes turning up – with some coming from Rockhampton, Biloela and Brisbane to show their support. There was a great variety of cars and bikes for enthusiasts of all tastes, plus a couple of drag cars and race bikes, as well as some award-winning vehicles. A large volume of spectators went for a look and enjoyed the Calliope Rotary Markets.
Calliope Motor Enthusiasts thank everyone involved in making this event such an amazing success – Rios Excavations for sponsoring the event, the Calliope Rotary Club for the invitation, the Anglican Church for giving permission to use their land and all the local business who donated raffle prizes – Mawa Exotics, Fulcrum Suspension Specialists, Repco, Novus Autoglass, Stay on Track 4×4 and Supercheap Auto. Also friends and family, especially Tom and Terri Shields, without all of this help and support, the event would not have had the success that it did.
