With only hours remaining until registrations close, now is the time to register for Gladstone’s favourite FunD Run!
Gladstone Ports Corporation’s Botanic to Bridge will be held this Sunday, 21 August 2016.
If you are yet to secure your place on the starting line, head to the Botanic to Bridge website and register before 8pm on Wednesday 17 August and be involved in one of Gladstone’s biggest community fundraising events!
Not only will you enjoy a great day out in the beautiful winter sun, you’ll be in the running to win cash and prizes. Plus, you can be assured that your registration goes back to the local community.
Funds from this year’s Botanic to Bridge will be directed to Roseberry Community Services’ Branchout program to help disadvantaged young people in Gladstone.
As well as raising money for Roseberry Community Services, all school student registrations will be donated back to their nominated school.
In the six years since B2B began, over $243,000 has been donated to community groups and local schools in the Gladstone region to assist with education, health and wellbeing programs and initiatives.
There are both 8km and 3km courses available which start at the Tondoon Botanic Gardens and Reg Tanna Memorial Park respectively, both finishing at GPC’s beautiful Marina Parklands.
So whether you’re running, walking or wheeling for fun, fitness, time with the family or to give back to the community – get active, have fun and just be part of it! Register today at www.botanictobridge.com.au
