teve Ebenestelli’s 1971 Holden LC Torana was four years in the making.
The car is built to CAMS (Confederation of Australian Motor Sport) specifications to run in the Queensland Rally Championship. It has a full roll cage and all required safety gear and is registered for road use.
It has a 202 motor with lots of modifications including a ported 12-port head, roller rockers, custom grind Crow solid lifter camshaft, triple 45 mm Dellorto carburettors, Spool con-rods, forged pistons, Romac balancer, custom fabricated sump and ARP bolts throughout.
The car’s first shake-down was at the Inspiration Paints Hinterland Rally held at Imbil on the 2nd of June and is now being prepared for round 2 of the Queensland Rally Championship, the Brakes Direct Border Ranges Rally to be held in Kyogle on the 13th to the 15th of July.
