This year the Gladstone Embroiderers’ Guild will be celebrating 35 years of their Annual Easter Display.
On Friday 30th March from 8 am to 4.30pm and Saturday 31st March 2018 from 8 am to 3.30pm the Gladstone Embroiderers’ Guild will display their works at the Gladstone City Library in Goondoon Street.
The Guild meets every Wednesday from 9.00 am to 12 noon and Saturday from 1.00pm until 4.00pm at the Gladstone Showgrounds in the Community Room via the Scenery Street entrance, where members work on their own projects such as gifts, display items or just to keep, perhaps to become heirlooms for family.
Tutor workshops are held frequently throughout the year, with members and other skilled craftspeople sharing their techniques of traditional and contemporary embroidery, suitable for all levels from beginner to experienced.
