Behind the scenes at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM), staff members have been busy designing a brand new website. The competed site was officially launched on July 28: http://gragm.qld.gov.au/
The modern layout offers visitors comprehensive access to what’s on at GRAGM, including exhibitions, programs and events. These listings show current and future opportunities, as well as archives of past events. Also featured on the fresh new website is fascinating information about the history of GRAGM and the local area, as well as up-to-date details on the upcoming ’41st Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2016′.
A new feature to the Gallery & Museum website is the ‘Collection’ page that shares useful information about multiple holdings including the Art, Heritage, Historical Photograph, Public Art, Celebrate Australia Children’s Art and Intercity Images Photograph collections.
Educators and community groups should also find the site valuable with easy access to information on group bookings and bus subsidies. A dedicated ‘Education’ page provides information to visitors on the specialised tours and programs available, as well as access to FREE teaching resources and annual partnering school opportunities.
Those looking for details on the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) can access http://gragm.qld.gov.au as it includes detailed information about the fund and committee. The RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council to support local arts and culture.
For access to all this and much more, bookmark the new GRAGM website and discover what the Gallery & Museum has to offer.
The Gallery & Museum is open 10am – 5pm, Monday to Saturday, with FREE admission.
