KOOKABURRA KIDS SHINE ON WITH DIAMONDS IN THE SKY

The children at Kookaburra Creek Kindy all want a ride on the stretcher.

Not for real, but during an exciting visit by paramedics from the Gladstone Ambulance Station last Friday, all the Kookaburra Kids were keen to inspect the equipment, hear the sirens (cover your ears!) and look in the back of the ambulance without any injuries having to occur.

Learning about the world, playing and making friends happens every day at Kookaburra Creek Kindy, long established in Anderson Street in Clinton and aligned to Lady Gowrie early childhood education services.

The parents, staff and friends of Kookaburra Creek are invited to have some fun too at this year’s big fundraiser – Diamonds in the Sky – a cocktail event with live music, raffles and fun being held at the Gladstone Events Centre at Yaralla Sports Club on Saturday 8 September.

It’s all about improving facilities at the kindy with all proceeds from a top night out going towards maintaining the outside areas, repairing soft-fall around trees and providing more shade.
