Life is a survival of the fittest; does your teenager have the skills to survive out of home or after school? You can now sponsor them to get the know-how to live a healthier life.
Gladstone News is very proud to be a sponsor of a local contestant in the headspace Hungry Games Exercise and Nutrition program.
The program is for 12 – 25 year olds and headspace is offering 10 people the opportunity to learn healthy living habits for eight weeks.
It only costs $80 (which is tax deductable) to sponsor someone for the 8 week program and includes two cross fit classes at Crossfit Escape per week and one cooking lesson per week run by local nutritionist Megan Leane.
This 8-week program will help a young person who may not have otherwise been able to afford to participate otherwise.
Let’s see how exercise and Nutrition with the support of professionals to help makes a difference for the participants. Gladstone News will be blogging weekly and we can’t wait to share the journey with you.
If you are a young person you can sign up for headspace Gladstone’s Hungry Games now or if you’d like to jump on a s a sponsor too then call 4903 1921.
(They need 10 people to sponsors and sign up to go ahead so do it now!)
