Sunday services held by Lifestyle Church in Gladstone have become extremely popular which has inspired the Church to expand to Calliope. Since its humble beginnings (what began on a patio with a handful of people) in July 2006, Senior Pastors Aaron and Tizena Bachmann have seen Lifestyle Church go from strength to strength, with hundreds of people now calling Lifestyle ‘home’.
“We have a genuine heart for our region and are very excited to announce our plans to connect with the people of Calliope. Our Calliope leaders, Dan and Leigh Gunter are very excited to see lives impacted only for the best…they love meeting new people and would be honoured to have you come along for our Official Launch,” said Pastor Aaron.
On Sunday February 19th there will be an incredible “LAUNCH SUNDAY” planned for the entire community. – “The kids will have a blast and our team would love to invite people across the region to ‘take another look’ at church,” said Aaron.
The launch will be held at the Council’s Calliope Community Centre, on Don Cameron Drive and is a free event that will engage the whole family. Kids will enjoy the jumping castle, face painting and kids program. A sausage sizzle and drinks will also be provided.
Aaron and Tizena’s desire is to see the Church be authentic, active and alive across the region.
“We are encouraging people in Calliope to come along! We believe that church is to be enjoyed and it’s a place for the entire family. Sundays are a highlight of the week for so many and we love gathering to celebrate the incredible message of faith, hope and love that God brings to our lives.” said Aaron.
“We are not perfect people, but we are people who have purpose! We want to speak hope into people’s lives, we want them to be encouraged and empowered to pursue their God-given dreams, regardless of their circumstances.” – said Pastor Tizena.
In addition to holding dynamic Sunday Experiences, Lifestyle has also built a reputation for their outstanding community events over the years. In 2016, “Gladstone’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt” was hosted by Lifestyle and thousands of people responded to the invitation to join this family fun event. Also in partnership with other churches, “Christmas in the City 2016” was heralded as a roaring success as thousands gathered again in the heart of the CBD for this entirely free community event.
“Our Impact & Events Teams do an amazing job to lead the charge in ensuring we are “people helping people” across our region…this is our Lifestyle!” said Pastor Aaron.
