If you, like me, cannot wait to catch the new Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander at Gladstone Cinemas from March 15, make sure you get there on time…..
“The Arrow” – A medieval action film where two enemy archers are pitted against each other in a deadly sniper style battle will be released on the Big Screen as a curtain raiser to Tomb Raider, as well as online on March 15 and it’s brought to you by local filmmaker, Clifton Schulke
Running eight minutes, the Arrow is a small part of a much larger idea for a feature film which Clifton is currently working on.
“We are incredibly fortunate for the film to play before every session of Tomb Raider at Gladstone Cinemas for the 1st week of its release because this is the supreme way to watch my film,” he said.
“Nothing beats the big screen experience. Plus, you’ll get to see Tomb Raider as well which looks amazing.”
Written, produced and directed by Clifton Schulke and filmed in one day by cinematographer Peter Szilveszter, The Arrow was shot in the Kalpower State Forest, and stars Luke Watts (as Damon) and Mick Donnellan (as the Enemy Archer) who was the cinematographer on the Australian bushranger epic – The Legend of Ben Hall.
The Arrow will also be available to stream via the Film Platter facebook page and website from the 15th.
It won the CAPS OPEN FILM at the Capricorn Film Festival 2017 and is still in the running for a handful of awards at Australian and International festivals.
