Roseberry Qld and headspace Gladstone, with the help of local Indigenous artist Patricia Coleman, are running a 5-week art workshop for NAIDOC 2018.
Youth aged 12 to 25 years will have the opportunity to create their own indigenous artworks, as well as contribute to two indigenous murals which will be auctioned at the 2018 NAIDOC Ball.
The workshop will run for five weeks, starting May 25th and running every Friday afternoon leading up to NAIDOC week from 3.30 pm until 4.45 pm.
The workshops will be held at Roseberry Queensland’s new headquarters at 21 Dawson Hwy – just across from Gladstone State High School.

NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and runs this year from July 8 until July 15.
