Three men will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court this morning on after investigations into the serious assault of a 31-year-old man at Barney Point on Saturday.
It will be alleged the man was at a Callide Crescent address around 3am when an altercation occurred with three men who were known to him.
During the incident, the man was allegedly punched, kicked and assaulted with a brick and had his mobile phone and a gold chain stolen.
The victim escaped to his vehicle, where the three men allegedly struck the car, damaging the vehicle prior to the man driving away.
The victim attended the Gladstone Base Hospital where he received treatment for a fractured jaw and bruising to his chest and abdomen.
Two men aged 17 and 18, both from Barney Point, were each charged with one count of grievous bodily harm, wilful damage and stealing.
A 17-year-old South Gladstone man was also charged with one count of grievous bodily harm, wilful damage and attempted stealing.
