SUNfest 2017 tickets now on sale!

An exciting combination of SUNfest 2017 activities will compete for the interest of 11 to 17 year olds from January 8 to 20, and we have a full program list!

The holiday program offers a diverse mix of events and activities aimed to appeal to different ages and interests to keep students entertained over the school holidays.

Several events and activities are free and run for a few hours, while others have been designed as multi-day events. There’s something to suit all tastes from cupcake decorating to balloon twisting, archery, kitchen science, or drones and electronics.

Those who enjoy action can choose from organised activities including go karts, archery, an adventure day, laser skirmish, paintball, indoor rock climbing, abseiling and sportwall activities, kayaking, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, horse riding and self-defence.

Workshops are also available for those interested in photography, art, cooking, make up, radio presenting, music, theatre and dance.

Go-Karts

Awoonga Headwaters Adventure Day
Through canoeing, swimming and walking you will explore nature to learn about air purity, water quality and soil fertility. But let’s get serious, this is all about fun, and fun you will have in this exciting adventure, canoeing around Awoonga Dam.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding
Stand-up Paddle Boarding is a traditional Hawaiian sport which promotes balance, strength and general fitness. Model Railroading 101

360° Miss Tamara’s Dance & performing Arts Workshop
Have you ever wanted to experience the life of a professional performer? Miss Tamara’s is calling all aspiring performers to experience a comprehensive two day performance workshop. The workshop includes modelling, Ballet, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Acro, Lyrical, contemporary drama, costume design, hair and makeup, a photo shoot and finishes up with a performance at the Sunfest Showcase.
