22 Sep Go mobile with GPC’s new Beach Webcam App
Want to know before you get in the car if the surf is up and the sun is shining at the beach these school holidays?
You can now check out the beach conditions at Tannum Sands, Agnes Water and Kellys Beach at anytime from anywhere with Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) new Beach Webcam App.
The webcam app live streams each of the three locations, providing the latest surf, fishing and weather conditions at your fingertips.
People and Community General Manager, Rowen Winsor said GPC provides the three webcams as part of its Community Investment Program.
“The beach webcams page on GPC’s corporate website consistently ranks within the top 10 page views every month, so we developed this new app to better meet the needs of our website users.
“From this Saturday, you can connect to our webcams anytime to keep an eye on the surfing, fishing and safety conditions at these beaches,” Ms Winsor said.
The new GPC Beach Webcam App is supported by Android and iOS, and is now available in app stores for free.
