26 Jul Acai Bowls Are The Quintessential Smoothie Bowl!
This simple and efficient recipe can be made within a few minutes from the comfort of your own home.
Acai bowls are the perfect healthy snack! Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack to fuel your day, they are super easy to make and can be made with superfruit acai berry puree, frozen bananas, blueberries and strawberries. Alternatively, you can add fresh fruit with some granola and extra seeds.
- ½ cup of Frozen fruit (Strawberries, blueberries, bananas ect)
- Frozen acai sambazon packets
- Vanilla almond granola
- Chia seeds (Or other seeds work well too!)
- Chopped dark chocolate or miniature chocolate chips (Because chocolate is life!)
- ½ Almond milk
- Vanilla Greek yogurt
Step 1 :
To make the acai base, all you need to do is toss your frozen acai packets, granola, chia seeds with ½ cup of almond milk into a high powered blender and blend until mixture has a smooth consistency.
Now for the toppings, you can add all the fruit your heart desires! You can also sprinkle some extra seeds over the top, as well as a drizzle of honey. You can also add a spoonful of vanilla Greek yogurt for extra texture and flavouring as well.
