On a bright and beautiful morning, the Roseberry community gathered at Ngingalla, their community garden, for a cause that resonates deeply with many—the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The event was a heartfelt success, brimming with laughter, warmth, and a shared commitment to breast cancer awareness and research.
The morning tea was a lively affair, thoughtfully arranged by Roseberry staff. Tables were decked in pink, adorned with delicious pink cupcakes, fruit, and chocolates. Olive & Fig generously donated raffle prizes, adding to the joyful atmosphere. Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations, fuelled by the event’s highlight—an informative session on breast health. Led by Andrea Cornthwaite, Director of Midwifery from CQHHS, the session covered vital topics such as self-examinations, recognizing early signs of breast cancer, and the available resources for support and treatment.
