09 Sep Cheers to our region’s vollies
Last month Cancer Council Queensland Gladstone Branch volunteers sold daffodils at Kirkwood Shopping Centre and Gladstone Square Shopping Centre and raised an impressive $4,209.85 for Daffodil Day.
The team said they were grateful to the community for their support, and to Be Cool’s Anthony Ohl for loaning them a mobile cold room to store the daffodils in.
The branch will be hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on October 22 to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
Tickets can be pre-purchased from local businesses Cutting Edge on Melefont Street, Style House Fashion in Sun Valley Plaza and Coastline Fashion on Hampton Drive in Tannum Sands.
If you know an awesome volunteer or not-for-profit that deserves a shout-out in Gladstone News, send us an email on email@example.com.
