Trent Scherer has been appointed as the new General Manager of Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL). Trent, who has been in Gladstone since mid-2012, brings extensive experience in environmental science and engineering, coupled with a deep connection to the region.
“Having grown up in a regional community, I really like the people living in regional communities,” Trent shared, highlighting his roots in Bundaberg and his various professional stints in Brisbane, London, and the Northern Territory.
