Gladstone Regional Council has this afternoon advised that due to delays in distribution, the due dates for halfyearly water access and sewerage charges have been extended.
Council has extended the due dates for rate notices by 14 days to account for the delay.
This now extends early payment discount dates to:
o 24 April – 10 per cent discount
o 24 May – 5 per cent discount
Normal half-yearly water consumption charges will be included in the March notice (if applicable).
HELPFUL PAYMENT INFORMATION
o Pay rates securely online at www.gladstone.qld.gov.au/OnlineServices (please enable cookies).
o Registered users of the above Online Services website can view rate notices online.
o To arrange an instalment plan, complete and return the form on the back of your rate notice.
o BPAY and Post Billpay payments should be made at least two days prior to discount deadlines
to ensure payments are cleared in time. Posted payments should allow for mailing delays.
o Information about rates, including how they are calculated, comparisons between councils and
payment options, is available at www.gladstone.qld.gov.au/rates
