Get ready for a day of dolphin spotting, beach cruising, lighthouse exploring and epic sand boarding when you jump on the full day tour with 1770 LARC! Tours.

Your ride for the day is an awesome PINK amphibious cargo vehicle that can drive over land and float on the sea. You will also be entertained with tales of Captain Cook and have your tummy filled with morning tea, lunch, and billy tea.

The ‘Paradise’ full-day tour is offered Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and extra days on demand in school holidays. Adults $156. Children $96 (under 5 free).

They also offer a range of other tours including a cultural tour Goolimbil Walkabout, and an Afternoon Cruise from just $38/Adult and $17/Child (under 5 free).

Paddle in Paradise (with 1770 Liquid Adventures)

Get the whole family out on the water for a fully guided kayak adventure! You’ll explore the mangroves of Round Hill Creek and might even spot some of the local estuarine dolphins. Kids are given a bird and marine life identification slate, so keep your eyes peeled and mark off the wildlife you spot along the way. Then stop on a secluded sandbar for a morning tea break where you can play some beach games or enjoy a swim in the calm waters of 1770. Finish up with a relaxed paddle back along the beautiful 1770 foreshores.

Cost: $30 per person or $100 for a family of four.

Rated the cheapest place in Australia to learn to surf, Agnes Water is the perfect place to channel your inner “surfer dude” or “surfer chick” this school holidays! During the 3-hour lesson you’ll receive hands on tuition from a qualified instructor, giving you the best possible chance of standing up! Plus, you’ll receive some extra assistance from the great beginner waves that Agnes Water boasts. Just bring a towel, sunscreen and a bottle of water, all equipment provided.

Explore the Southern Great Barrier Reef

Explore the Reef (with 1770 Reef Cruises) 

As the closest access point to Lady Musgrave Island, no trip to 1770 would be complete without a visit to the heart of the Southern Great Barrier Reef!

Hop aboard 1770 Reef Cruises luxury catamaran and in only 75 minutes you’ll be experiencing the world class snorkelling of Lady Musgrave Island and its unique inner lagoon. This 8 nautical mile circle of coral protection creates a haven for over 1300 varieties of brilliantly coloured fish and over 350 species of both hard and soft corals. Plus, you can get up close with other resident marine life including swimming with turtles and spotting manta rays.

This all-inclusive day tour includes boat transfers, snorkelling, guided island nature walks, a glass bottom boat tour, morning/afternoon tea and a buffet lunch with fresh prawns.

Paperbark Forest Boardwalk (FREE)

The Paperbark Forest Boardwalk is only a short 400m walk but it won’t disappoint! Follow the trail of stepping stones and wooden walkways as you wind through the magical paperbark trees that tower above.

Reminiscent of an enchanted forest, kids will take delight in this whimsical forest. Nature lovers and keen photographers will also love this spot, so keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife and don’t forget your camera!
