Duo set to make Gladstone happier & healthier

A pair of dietitians is set to make Gladstone a happier and healthier region with the opening of their new clinic this month.

Happier, Healthier – Nutrition & Dietetics, owned and operated by Kimberly May and Brie James, will open on November 8, and focus on providing “high-quality client centered nutrition therapy and care” to the Gladstone community.

“We focus on creating a holistic lifestyle, and value a multi-disciplinary approach,” the team, who met on a university trip to Nepal for public health promotion, said.

“We work with a variety of people within the community, and specialise in everything from chronic disease, weight loss, malnutrition, food intolerances and allergies to pediatrics, gut health and bariatric surgeries.

“You can see us with a health plan from your GP, if you’re eligible, in which we fully bulk-bill, or privately, where rebates are available.”

The duo, who both received a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics from Griffith University, said they were excited to open their clinic and help the region they’ve called home for the past three years embrace a healthier lifestyle.

“Nothing makes us happier than seeing our clients live a healthier and more fulfilled life because of the work we’ve done with them in the nutrition and dietitian space,” they said.

Happier & Healthier is located at Level 3/ 100 Goondoon Street at Gladstone City Plaza.

They are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 7pm on Thursdays, 9am to 5pm on Fridays and 9am to 12noon on Saturdays.
