16 Feb FASHION FOR A CAUSE AT STOCKLAND GLADSTONE
Eli Hovey is a bright, happy, active, smart, loving 2 and a half year old boy and his world and that of his family’s changed at the end of November 2016 when he was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of cancer, Ectomesenchymoma. Only 44 cases are known of this type of cancer worldwide, and of those cases, only 6 have occurred in the last 10 years.
Eli is the son of one of Stockland Gladstone’s own – Rosalie Hovey. Rosalie is the former Store Manager of Lorna Jane and worked at Stockland Gladstone for over 3 years and is a proud member of the Gladstone community.
Fashion retailers at Stockland Gladstone have teamed up with local talent agency to bring the Gladstone community together to raise funds for Eli’s medical treatments and showcase next season’s fashion.
Stockland Gladstone Marketing Manager, Joanne Lewis, said “We are proud to be teaming up with all of our wonderful fashion retailers and hosting a great runway show to support the Hovey family during this difficult time.”
Stockland Gladstone invites the community to come down to support Eli and his family at The Fashion Extravaganza Runway Show at Stockland Gladstone this Sunday, 19th February 2017 from 11am in centre court.
