Flourish!

This exciting new event presented by Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours (WIN) will be held at the Gladstone Inclusion Centre in Off St. Starting with a welcome to country and smoking ceremony, Flourish celebrates our diverse and integrated community. Come and check out the world fashion parade, modelled by our members and their children in a first for Gladstone. Award winning Taiwanese artist Ping, with the help of our volunteers, has created a small exhibition celebrating Flourish. With a host of workshops to suit any budding creative personality there is much to keep you entertained. And finally feast on an array of food – check out the sweets from the Middle East at one of our tasting stations, and then indulge with traditional chai brewed by our volunteers. Check our programme to make sure you don’t miss out! Flourish is a free event for the community.
