I have kids and grandkids.
Do you have any Pets?
Am proud to have a female boxer granddog: Ruby. Jessie, our family pet Australian Terrier passed away. Now in search for a new small family pet dog probably from our local RSPCA.
My family life revolves around family and friends and meeting new people. Enjoy many aspects of life. Strong philosophy that Life is a journey and not just a destination.
11 years in Local Government leadership, 12 years leadership as CEO and Director GAPDL Board, 5 years Chairman Gladstone PCYC, 8 years Gladstone Region rep on State Tourism and Events Qld CEO Committee and Current member Gladstone Region Aust. Gov. Regional Development committee. Served 26 years with Queensland Police Service attaining multiple medals and distinctions.
Why did you decide to become a Councillor
To seek favourable support from the voters and to bring about some much needed change with my enthusiasm, positive energy, trust, proven integrity and lengthy experience.
What will be one main focus for you in the role?
I am committed to supporting the Mayor and my fellow Councillors to unify our Region. I give an assurance to make decisions to the best of my judgement and ability, whilst ensuring that the people of our region, HAVE THEIR SAY too, and through me and others, as their elected representatives.

I would personally like to express my thanks and greatest appreciation to the terrific community minded people who supported my nomination for the election and to my wonderful family and friends.
