The Gladstone Shop to Win competition was a huge success with over 25,000 entries from 29 local businesses! The 2019 winner was Pauline Dallon-Dodds with the winning entry drawn from Encore Restaurant at Yaralla. Pauline was visiting her family in Gladstone when she entered the draw after having a family dinner out at the restaurant. She was extremely excited to have won $10k just before Christmas and mentioned it was the first time she had won a major prize!
“I was pretty shocked – I’ve never won anything, and it came at a really good time! My computer had crashed and everything was on the blink, so I was working out a budget for replacing lots of things after Christmas and I couldn’t believe it,” Pauline said.
