If you have been wondering what is happening along Glenlyon Road of late, the road works are set to upgrade the stretch of road and create a safe passage for cyclists.
Along with the resurfacing of the road the upgrade will mean an extension on the existing cycling lane from Breslin Street to Philip Street. The project received a $290, 000 boost from State Government and will include asphalt repairs and overlaying of the road around the traffic lights at the intersection of Breslin Street and Glenlyon Road.
