Great work Friends of Bindaree!

Here is just a small example of where funds go that are raised at the weekly Garage Sales at Bindaree. The volunteers of Friends of Bindaree do an amazing job every Tuesday and Wednesday sorting through the huge amount of second hand donations ready for sale to the public. This initiative is truly recycling at its best – members of the public have the opportunity to dispose of unwanted items, and also to buy pre-loved items at very affordable prices. Plus proceeds go towards much needed improvements to the Bindaree Aged Care Facility, and it also reduces the impact on landfill.

The Garage Sales are on every Wednesday morning and there are also monthly sales on Saturdays (Check out the Friends of Bindaree Facebook page). Sellable goods can be delivered to the front of the facility sheds, or alternatively you can arrange for a pick-up by calling Andrew or Betty on 07 4973 8156.
