Sharalee Elijah, the Project Coordinator of Yalga-binbi’s Gulya Academy, emphasised the crucial role of connection in Indigenous student success. “Connection and engagement are key drivers to Indigenous student success,” she affirmed. “That’s why Gulya Academy is dedicated to keeping our participants tethered to their education, culture, and community.”
