At Gladstone Hospital, healing meets creativity thanks to Cosmos Arts for Health. Founded in 2022, this not-for-profit organisation operates two gallery spaces within the hospital, inviting local artists, writers, poets, and storytellers to exhibit their work for 2024-2025.
Katrina Elliot, Founder and Arts Project Manager of Cosmos, emphasised the exhibitions’ therapeutic impact. “Through vibrant and inspiring pieces, we aim to reduce stress, promote well-being, and create a positive atmosphere with a focus on resilience,” she said, providing “a soothing and uplifting environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals” at Gladstone Hospital.
