12 Mar INCREDIBLE EDIBLES TO OPEN A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE CAFE
NEW CAFE ON THE SCENE AT TANNUM SANDS! IN MARCH IE CAFE WILL BE SERVING NOT JUST INCREDIBLE food, BUT INCREDIBLE coffee AS WELL.
incredible edibles (ie), a social enterprise of Gladstone Community Linking Agency (GCLA) was established in 2017. Since beginning, incredible edibles has been providing delicious catering to commercial customers and not letting any opportunity pass them by.
With the team’s lively, ‘go-get-them’ attitude, opening a cafe has become the natural progression for this small, but intrepid social enterprise. The cafe’s unique recipe for success is as much about people, as it is about great coffee!
GCLA’s Chief Executive Officer, Tracey Alexander says ie cafe’s goal is a mix of three equally important ingredients; supporting the community; creating employment opportunity; and inspiring your day!
“Incredible edibles is a not-for-profit venture and a social enterprise. Our financial goals are solely based on providing essential services for people in our community,” Tracey said.
“Our recruitment strategy is aimed at providing paid work opportunities and training for individuals living with a disability. The ie team are continually learning, on the job and through structured study, enabling them to be amazing in their field and capable of bringing quality products to your plate.” she said.
Team Leader of incredible edibles, Colette Giha Carella says the ie cafe team want you to enjoy your experience at their Tannum Sands cafe as much as your cup of coffee.
“When you choose to dine at ie cafe you are also choosing to help enable others and strengthen our community, and for that we thank you!” Colette said.
“Our aim is to exceed your expectations and inspire your day! We hope ie cafe will soon become your favourite hangout, where you can enjoy time with family and friends or meet with work colleges,” Colette added.
From here the sky is the limit for and their inspiring team with ie cafe launching their own coffee label as well as incredible treats for you to enjoy. The cafe will officially open end of March and will be open on weekdays from 6am to 2pm.
