Introducing our Gladstone State High School Wellbeing Team

2023 has brought big changes to our Gladstone SHS Wellbeing Team. This year we have a support team that is second to none, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to us to help support our students. This year we have 3 Guidance Officers, 2 Youth Workers, 1 School Based Nurse, 1 School Based Police Officer, 2 Social Workers, 1 CEC and Indigenous Key Teacher, and last but not least 2 Therapy Dogs that will be visiting us weekly next term. 

The introduction of our new Wellbeing Hub in 2023 has seen many students access this calm space and receive the help they need with our team. This space has been designed for students that need a quiet space for when they are feeling overwhelmed and or anxious and students to come and check in with the lovely ladies and make appointments with any of our Wellbeing Team.
