For the last 18 months parents in the Agnes Water community along with other community groups and the school itself, have been working towards the opening of the Goora Gan Steiner School. The school is set to open on the 30th of January 2017 and enrolments are now open.
The school will be a welcome addition to the community, with limited options for schooling in the area. President of the Goora Gan Steiner School Melissa Thompson said that some families have even moved to the area for their children to attend this school.
