This past Saturday Olympic Gold Medalist Clint Robinson paid a visit to the region for paddling and ski clinics with the Tannum Sands Surf Club. Luke Grice, a local that competed in the 41st Annual Maui Jim Molokai Challange in Hawaii back in May, organised for Clint to include the Tannum club into his workshop schedule.
The five time Olympian for kayaking trained Grice before the Challenge earlier in the year, so Luke thought to reach out and see how he could pass on his expertise to local kids. The clinics were on Saturday afternoon at Tannum Sands and saw the kids practice in the Boyne River.
