Now winter is here, the Red Cross blood service says that regular donors sometimes have to cancel their appointments due to cold & flu or other illness.
So it’s the perfect time for people who have never donated before or not done so for some time to get involved
There are still more than 25 appointments available in Gladstone over the next 2 weeks for whole blood donations and more than 65 appointments for whole blood donations over the same period, and others for plasma donations.
A donation only takes around an hour of your time and will directly help to save the lives of 3 people and make a difference in the lives of countless loved ones.
