The 36th annual Red Nose Day, a national fundraising and awareness event, that invites the community to get silly for a serious cause, will take place on the 9th of August 2024. In Gladstone, Gabriella from The Gift of the Gab Photography will host a special fundraiser on August the 10th at the Phillip Street Precinct. The national charity that runs Red Nose Day is Red Nose Australia – an organisation dedicated to saving little lives and provides 24/7 bereavement support for anyone affected by the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth or the death of a baby or child. Red Nose also fund crucial research and offer safe sleep advice.
Gabriella, a bereavement and end-of-life photographer, became involved with Red Nose after experiencing her second pregnancy loss. She is passionate about breaking the stigma around discussing loss and mental health. “Hosting this event is a way for me to contribute and help others,” she shared.
