ReefClean and Clean Up Australia Join Forces for the Great Barrier Reef Clean-up 2024 

In a powerful collaboration, Tangaroa Blue Foundation and Clean Up Australia have announced the launch of ReefClean’s Great Barrier Reef Clean-up 2024. This event, the largest community-driven marine debris clean-up of the year, kicks off on World Clean-Up Day, September 20th, and will run for six weeks until October 31st. 

The Great Barrier Reef Clean-up 2024 invites everyone, from seasoned beach clean-up veterans to first-time participants, to take part in protecting the Great Barrier Reef from the damaging effects of marine debris. This initiative offers an opportunity for communities to unite and clean their favourite sections of the Reef before the onset of the wet season.
