Renovate 4680

Do you have Gladstone’s best kitchen or bathroom renovation?

Renovate 4680 is a local competition recognising local residential and commercial kitchen and bathroom renovations. With the new addition of landscaping, shed and home office renovations completed in the last 12 months. The winners are judged by the voting public.

Local businesses LOCATIONS Estate Agents, Betta Home Living, Harbour City Tiles & Carpets, GIW Designs, Bank of Queensland Gladstone, Greenscape Gladstone, Office National, Zone Planning Group, SE Plumbing, Port City Air-Conditioning and CNW are all partnering to provide Gladstone’s one and only annual renovation competition.

Based on feedback and submissions from last year, Renovate 4680 are introducing several other categories including Landscaping, Shed/Shouse, and Home Office renovations. These categories celebrate the beautiful living spaces at home, particularly as most of us have evolved and embraced the need to work from home this year.

Renovate 4680 continues to include the Support Services and Commercial categories as this is a great way to highlight the not for profit sector especially around the NDIS and Disability Services.

This year Renovate 4680 is pleased to announce that the prizes are bigger and better than last year, including cold, hard cash for the Residential Kitchen and Bathroom winners.
The total prize pool for 2020 is valued at over $6,000! There are eight prices on offer for the residential kitchen winner, residential bathroom winner, commercial kitchen or bathroom winner, support services kitchen or bathroom winner, landscaping/outdoor winner, shed/shouse winner, home office winner and the people’s choice.

To be eligible the renovation must have been completed within the last 12 months. Previous submissions are not able to be resubmitted. Before and after images must be supplied along with a list of trades and suppliers used.

Alicia Williams is the Founder of Renovate 4680 and is the Principal and Director at Locations Estate Agents, who facilitate the competition.

“I’m very excited about this year’s competition, it’s always interesting to see how people in the region have renovated their kitchens and bathrooms, both residential and commercial.” Alicia said.

“This competition benefits that Gladstone Region in a couple of different ways. We are big on the buy local policy. So, supporting independent brands, businesses, suppliers and tradies. We are trying to get away from the big-name brands and encouraging people to shop local.”

“By doing that we are helping build the local supply chain. We are also helping people by educating them in renovation and design. There are a lot of people interested in DIY and it’s good for them to be able to connect to local suppliers, tradies and businesses who can help educate them on what to do and what not to do.” Alicia said.
