Family, friends and colleagues celebrated the life of Ronald Fredrick Wakelin with a memorial tribute in his honor at the Calliope Historical Village on the weekend.
Ronald Fredrick Wakelin was described by his colleague Paul Howkins as ‘ one of the last true gentlemen.’ Initiating the St John’s Gladstone Division in 1993 and also the Boyne Island Rotary; Ronald contributed so much to our region through these voluntary organisations and for that we want to give our sincere thanks.
