Locals are being urged to pick up a bunch of flowers this August to show their support for the 145,000 Australians diagnosed with cancer each year.
Cancer Council Queensland is celebrating 35 years of Daffodil Day on August 27 and local volunteers will be out selling bunches of daffodils for $12, with all money raised going to life-saving research and cancer support services.
