Teaming Up for the CALD community!
Are you from a culturally and linguistically diverse background (CALD) and working in the social sector in Central Queensland?
Uniting Care Queensland (UCQ) and Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours Inc. (WIN) have partnered to facilitate a new forum for those from CALD backgrounds working in the Social Sector in Central Queensland.
This monthly meeting will provide a space where culturally diverse social workers and professionals can discuss in an open, confidential and frank environment any issues or situations which they have found to be challenging, rewarding or innovative during their practice.
This CQ Intercultural Social Sector Support Network – CQISSSN is open to all workers but will seek to assist those of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds such as support workers, social workers, people in the medical field GPs, nurses, police personnel, teachers or other people working in the community sector.
