Celebrating Sports in the Gladstone Region Exhibition

When: Monday – Friday, 10am – 4:30pm, Saturday, 10am – 2pm

Where: Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum

From as early as 1902 when the sailors of HMS Torch won a novel cricket match against a team of Gladstone ladies (then lost a rematch a month later), sports have played an important role in our social community.

 

February 27

Junior Golf Come & Try Day

When: 9 – 11am

Where: Calliope Golf Club, Stowe Road

Free come and try event. All ages and skill levels welcome.

 

March 5

BAM Markets

When: 2-7pm

Where: Millennium Esplanade, Tannum Sands

Live entertainment, great food and a huge variety of market stalls. Bring a blanket and some chairs and make an afternoon of it.

 

March 6

Clean Up Australia Day

When: 6am – 5pm

Where: Gladstone Region

Combined Schools Musical 2022: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

When: 7pm

Where: GECC

Cost: $35 for adults and $20 for children

The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
