Rally in the Valley Family Fun Day & Car Rally
When: 9am (Car Rally) and 12:30pm (Family Fun Day)
Where: Nagoorin State School (Car Rally) and Builyan State School (Family Fun Day)
What: You’re invited to take part in a family fun car rally through the beautiful Boyne Valley, starting at Nagoorin State School and finishing at Builyan State School for an afternoon of activities and entertainment.

Cost: FREE entry (donations appreciated for environment and education campaigns)
What: The theme for this year’s Ecofest is ‘Ecosystem Restoration’, which aligns with the theme of World Environment Day (June 5).
Through educational workshops, talks and activities, this year’s event aims to educate and empower residents to make changes towards a sustainable life.
There will also be presentations from leaders in sustainability and gardening, eco-markets and plant sales, food trucks and live music.

Gladstone Community Open Day

Where: Gladstone Ports Corporation’s Marina Parklands
Cost: FREE
What: This fun and educational morning aims to showcase the great work of local emergency services including RACQ CapRescue, QFES, Rural Fire, QLD Police and QLD Ambulance. The RACQ CapRescue helicopter will touch down, providing the community with an opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’, experiencing the rescue aircraft from inside with prime photo opportunities.
