In preparation for Child Protection Week 2023, Gladstone Area Promotion and Development Ltd (GAPDL) alongside Gladstone Neighbourhood Centre, Anglicare, Act for Kids, GRT and Communities for Children have all partnered with Gladstone Regional Council to deliver and create a powerful presentation, that is designed raise awareness as well as inform adults of the dangers of potential online child predators.
ThinkUKnow is an evidence based education program delivered in partnership with police and other industry partners to prevent online child sexual exploitation. The program is pro technology and addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, image based abuse, sexual extortion and importantly encourages help seeking behaviour.
