STUDENTS VISIT GLADSTONE’S LARGEST EMPLOYER

Students from Toolooa State High School and Tannum Sands State High School experienced first-hand what industry is all about recently when they visited Gladstone’s largest employer. Queensland Alumina Limited (QAL) hosted their first onsite careers day for 2019, giving the students the opportunity to see the QAL refinery up close and learn about career opportunities in the workplace. 

The students participated in information sessions about QAL’s processes and gained some hands-on experience with daily tasks carried out by employees in the refinery.
