Bold Plan for Nuclear Power at Biloela

Recently, Peter Dutton and the Coalition have announced plans to establish seven nuclear power plants at sites of retiring or retired coal power stations. One key location identified is the Callide Power Station near Biloela.

Without transitioning to nuclear power, Callide Power Station is slated to close, leading to the loss of approximately 250 jobs. This closure would significantly impact the local economy, affecting schools, stores, and local government revenue.
