Courage & Leadership With Zonta

Courage & Leadership With Zonta

Each meeting is held in a different city within the district and the Gladstone Club was honoured and excited to welcome Zontians from Brisbane, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Rockhampton & Toowoomba. This year’s meeting had the theme of Courage and Leadership and included 2 days of activities and information sessions.

Held at CQUniversity, Zontians heard from the Zonta District Governor and messages from Zonta International and United Nations. There was Club project sharing and discussion as well as local guest speakers presenting their stories of life experiences of courage and leadership.

No Zonta meeting excludes fun and fellowship and this didn’t disappoint, with pre-dinner drinks at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum and an exclusive presentation by local artists Katrina Elliot and Lidia Godijn. Zontians finished their Saturday evening at Cafe Spinnaker Park with a lovely meal and entertainment by local singer, Bronnie-Rae.
