The 2017 Boyne Tannum HookUp is going super digital with the plans to create a Snapchat geo-filter to be used throughout the fishing competition. With the establishment of a Youth Committee in 2016, the idea was hatched to create the Snapchat filter which will be accessed when the user is in the vicinity of Bray Park over the three days of the event.
Social media will play a vital role in the Youth Committee’s cause as competitions will be run via Instagram and Facebook in alignment with the committee’s aim to increase participation of under 16’s to the HookUp.
